You spot someone wearing something you have never seen before. You've dreamt it up in your head, but to know it's been made and sold, you get a little excited. I must get my hands on it! So you casually walk up to them and say "hey, I love your skirt, where did you get it from?". You are hoping that the answer is something accessible but not so accessible that everyone will soon have it, and if it's a bargain, that would be a great bonus....but in a second your dreams are dashed. "Oh thanks, I got in Ukraine on my last holiday". Seriously? Seriously? You manage to conjure up a wry smile and politely walk away muttering under your breath "I could totally make that right?". The point is you probably aren't going to make it. Stop seriously contemplating a holiday to Ukraine!
I have had something different happen to me but with the same outcome. A few months ago I was in Greece and unassumingly walked into a store called Fullah Sugah by Skondras. I was soaked to the bone at the time because of my dear J and so as you can imagine I was a little grumpy. He decide the best way to cheer me up was to coax me into stores and buying anything I made adoring noises at. Not his usually behaviour and I honestly think he was being tricky. The last thing I wanted to do dripping went was try on clothes so we didn't buy all that much but I did get a cute pair of shoes out of it and and an unfortunate hold pattern in my mind. I mind shopped the store a few times over after that thinking "damn, I should have bought that".
My mind was finally put at ease knowing there were a few of these stores in Greece and surely they would have on-line shopping....I was wrong. Unless you are Greek, I don't think you can shop Fullah Sugah. I know it's mean but I had to share some of this frustration here. What do you think? Do we need it or is it going to be just another store in the shopping centre?
