Dear Internets,
Every now and then you stumble across a cute project, usually conducted by a small fry with some big ideas. This morning, watching TV, a big fry has decided to give it a shot. Bonds has been in the lives of Australians since 1915 and ever since I was little, I can remember the chesty bonds ads with that buff guy - if you're Australian you'd know the one. They've now decided to find one person to be the face of each of the 35,301 days Bonds have been in our lives. If you're Australian, all you have to do is get onto http://www.wearebonds.com.au/ and find your date of birth. If it hasn't been claimed, upload your photos, share some perals of wisdom, what you're known for, what you look forward to and get a free white bonds shirt with your date of birth and name on it. I guess the challenge is going to be finding older men and women to admit their age:) I can't wait to get my tee. Oops: What is BONDS? Bonds are traditionally a brand that make underthings, made famous for their singlets and undershirts. More recently they have branched out into hoodies, sloppy joes, PJs, trackies, bras, socks and underwear, making a big splash with their fun and memorable adverts. Dear Internets,
Vomit. Not something you would normally positively associate with anything yet it seems apt. Have you seen the Jeremy Scott Womenswear A/W12? Its as thought someone ate Joseph's technicoloured dream coat and the Sydney gay and lesbian mardi gras felt inspired and proceeded to expel a glorious rainbow projectile. ♥ pixelhazard splashing around in rainbows
Dear Internets,
Good Monday morning southern-hemisphere-ers, and good whatever the hell time it is to everyone else. This morning I've lost my sparkle. We've had a crazy couple of days with hail storms, flash flooding, dangerous winds and wild electrical storms. Summer my foot! Honestly, if another debris strewn road sends a rock hurtling through my windscreen, I will scream! Sometimes on days like this, all you can do is procrastinate by doing paper work and donning some man made sparkle to brighten your day. I'd highly recommend these Jeffrey Campbell sparkle boots, if you can get away with them at work. I got these from solestruck who have just updated with new JC's in all their punk rock glory, but I'd never say no to some of the old style gun metal litas either. I'd love to be able to peek under a news desk or that of a telemarketer and discover them wearing these, wouldn't you? If thats just a little too ostentatious and stripper for your occupation, then the next best thing has got to be fun undies, or 'fundies' if you will. You'll be wearing that secret squirrel Mona Lisa smile all day long. Which one will I choose today? Hmm ♥ pixelhazard has a Mona Lisa smile
Dear Internets,
So I have a request, if anyone wants to indulge me? I'd like to join the big bright visual world of PINTEREST but am plagued with the curse of impatience. That being said, if anyone would be so kind as to fast track the process with an invitation, that would be splendiferous! See how I shameless use this cute little amigurumi to propel my cause. This guy, along with many adorable others can be found at amigurumikingdom on etsy complete with bodies if you so wish. I know this is definately beyond my talents to recreate!

If anyone out there still like snail mail and would like to pay it forward: Comment with the words "PAY IT FORWARD" I will make/revamp-ify/purchase(if i'm suffering from creative block) something and send it to you. You should then, by some means of social media (blog, twitter, facebook etc.) pay it forward and offer the same service for 3 other individuals. ♥ pixelhazard a little obsessive
Dear Internets,
I never invisaged writing the following sentence BUT - The 'pay in forward' concept is a little like communism : Idealistic, misunderstood and not built realistically for fairness or the long term benefit of all. Then again, some of those things describe me; crazy idealistic me sooooo why not PAY IT FORWARD?'
For the first 3 people who comment with the words "PAY IT FORWARD" I will make/revamp-ify/purchase(if i'm suffering from creative block) something and send it to you. You should then, by some means of social media (blog, twitter, facebook etc.) pay it forward and offer the same service for 3 other individuals.
It doesn't need to be expensive, just done with joy. Wouldn't it be a lovely way to start the year?

thanks Zoe for the lovely idea
Dear Internets,
Firstly: Happy rest of the week! Secondly: I've always been rather tough on my sunnies. Before you start conjuring up images of my backing over my innocently lined up sunglasses with an acme steamroller, let me explain my affliction. I am short sighted, and as such, have always preferred prescription sunglasses. Many a times I have bought lovely sunglasses and have wondered around blind as a bat, suffering for fashion. It didn't help that back in the day options were significantly more limited. These days I am enjoying the flexibility of prescription sunnies. Maybe I ought to give a Thierry Lasry pair a shot. There are just pretty enough to win me over. What do you think? I predict a few hours of sun this weekend that warrant a purchase.
